Abilashrayam Trust Project : Bangalore


Punya Bangalore Team visits Abilashrayam Children Home (Orphanage) near Kodigehalli Railway Station, Bangalore.


The Requirements finalized by the Punya Team for Abilashrayam Project were, a Mixer and a Grinder. The Bangalore Punya Team Members Chirag and Ruchi visited the Abilashrayam Trust on Saturday, 17th July. Team was by Mr Kiran, member of Abilashrayam Trust.

The Orphanage is a two Storeyed building. Team reached there at 5.30, It was Kids playing time so they went to first floor, assisted by Mr Kiran Abilashrayam has its Office, kitchen and room for all girls.

The room was fully decorated with all drawings on the wall. Walls had crafted A-Z, So many cartoon characters sketches and also the entry to the rooms had the titles. The Washroom said.. "Wonder Looooooo...".

Punya Team discussed with Mr Kiran about the Orphanage, its working, who all are the trustee's, who all are the caretakers for the children, how are these children brought over here, where are there parents, details about each children, which class they were studying in, their special qualityies, their daily routines, about medical assaistances, and also about how are Kids getting funded for their education, school fees.

Most of the Kids were single parent, whose parents were not able to support their kids for education and living. Two Kids among them did not have any parents. One Girl was just 3 and half year old.



Team handed over the Mixer and Grinder to the Trust and Met the Kids, Team interacted with the Kids asking them their name, class and what they like. Most of the Kids are in LKG and the eldest one is in 9th Std. Mr Kiran informed about the eldest Kids qualtities, he being proactive in reparing things, making things workable. Team also distributed Chocolates to the Kids.


Later, Team collected the acknowledgement from Mr Kiran, and asked him to send the details about all the kids as we would appreciate to provide scholorship to the Kids who need it.
